Lego Robotics Camp

St. Ignatius College Preparatory offers an annual LEGO Robotics Summer Camp, where students can dive into the world of robotics, programming, and innovation while having a blast! Every summer, kids from across the community gather to learn, build, and explore technology in a fun and engaging environment.

What to Expect from the LEGO Robotics Camp
The LEGO Robotics Summer Camp is designed to introduce students to the basics of robotics and programming using LEGO Mindstorms and LEGO Spike Prime, which are interactive, hands-on platforms for learning science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). Whether your child is new to robotics or already a budding engineer, the camp offers a welcoming environment for all skill levels.
Key features of the camp include:

  • Hands-on Learning: Campers will build and program their own LEGO robots to solve real-world challenges.

  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Students will work together in small teams to brainstorm ideas, troubleshoot issues, and complete various challenges.

  • Problem-Solving Skills: Campers will tackle a variety of robotics challenges that help develop critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.
